A Change of Pace
As we continue to battle a global pandemic, some Filipinos have taken on the responsibility of taking care of their respective communities. These heroes have provided much-needed assistance to an economy currently struggling with the virus.
Francis Esmero, a freelance agent for Buy & Sell cars, is one of those who stepped up and chose to do something to help the people around him.
"During COVID-19, my husband gave out relief goods to the needy. He also headed feeding programs in our area,"Joyce, Francis’ wife enthused.
However, despite having a busier schedule due to his added responsibilities, Joyce is glad that her husband is still a loving father to their children. "Sometimes, when he isn't tired, he would cook for us. We'd play games or watch movies and even play wrestle with the kids," Joyce explained. "I love him very much. To this day, my happiest memory is the day we got married," she gushed.
