Who isn't a fan of Mc Donald's? I've been Ms Cheeseburger for as long as I can remember. It's my parent's favorite pasalubong, my favorite hangout place with my high school friends and my favorite bribe whenever I feel bad. Yes, Mc Donald's is and will always be a big part of my childhood and now, it's part of my kids' childhood too.

Actually, my 4 year old boy is a big fan of Mc Donald's Happy Meal. The boy collects them and keeps them in his toy box and plays with them every single day. So imagine his excitement when he realized that his happy meal characters can now be downloaded from iOs, Android and web.

Yes mommies, I am talking about Happy Studio. Here's a little background about this app:

Happy Studio is an interactive learning and play app that makes the Happy Meal experience even more enjoyable. Filled to the brim with character-themed games, the Happy Studio app is a place where kids can explore their creativity while developing useful skills.
 Using the app is simple and easy. All you have to do is download the app for free and click on your activity of choice to get the fun started. The best part? You can even scan a Happy Meal toy to unlock more fun and games within the app! Happy Studio has been designed in collaboration with a panel of child development and play experts. These experts have been working with McDonald’s to create a fun new environment that grows children’s imaginations and encourages innovative thinking. Educational Game PlayIn the Happy Studio app, kids can choose to step into the shoes of an inventor, an artist, or a musician. Each activity is focused on developing certain skills while putting the child into playful mini-scenarios.

As an inventor, kids can build various objects with their favorite characters while learning creative and logic skills as they go. As an artist, children are able to improve their creative skills and exercise their imagination. As a musician, kids are able to explore musical patterns to help improve their rhythm and timing. Parents can also join in on the fun with features such as Happy Readers, for quality bonding experiences with their kids.
 

We took this app for a little test drive and so far, I am liking what the app can do. The best part about the app? No in-app purchases, which can be annoying especially when you are getting too attached to the app. No food advertising because hello, everyone knows what Mc Donald's offers and No third-party advertising which is the most annoying of all, this usually turns me and my kid off whenever we download an app. 

 The Happy Studio App is updated regularly with new games and characters, depending on the Happy Meal property to be launched. But wait, there's more! You don't have to be connected to the internet to play Happy Studio, but you will need to download the app.
