Japanese Hotpot in Makati : Ganso Shabuway, A Great Japanese Food Experience (Zomato Foodie Meet-Up)

I am a Japanese food fan - all the way! From maki, sushi to tempura, I devour it like a hungry mountaineer who just went down from a hike!

Lately, I have been craving for a new foodie adventure and luckily, I was invited to a foodie meet-up by ZOMATO, a food lover's haven at GANSO SHABUWAY

Located at the Lower Ground Level of Rockwell Power Plant Mall in Makati - Ganso Shabuway boasts of a Japanese gastronomic treat like no other. Here's how I'd describe my experience.

Interiors:

Their red and black minimalist design that is common in almost all Japanese restos radiate a casual yet  semi-formal vibe. The dim lighting effect added a more intimate feel conducive to a great dining experience. You won't feel like you are inside a bustling mall.

THE MANAGER AND THE STAFF

We were warmly welcomed and accomodated by Ms. Anne and her team of cheerful servers. Any of our requests were met with a smile and speed of service just right for impatient customers like me.

Zomato Foodies, Zomans with Ms. Anne the Manager 😄

THE FOOD:

For entrees, we were served with Agedashi Tofu, sweet and salty, soft to the mouth.

Seafood Deluxe - which you have to dip into the hotpot.

Mixed Beef - USDA choice Angus Beef and Wagyu Beef - heavenly!

GYOZA -
a staple Japanese food. not my favorite on the menu though. Lols!

For dessert, they served us with Matcha Azuki Milk Kakigori -which is an ice scrambled with beans. Good if you're a fan of beans. 😄

THE VERDICT

I give GANSO SHABUWAY 4.5 stars out of 5! For cleanliness, amazing and prompt service and good food!

So, what are you waiting for? Check out GANSO SHABUWAY located at the Lower Level of Rockwell Power Plant Mall. Follow them on Instagram: @gansoshabuway and like their Facebook Page: GANSO SHABUWAY too!

See you around these parts fellow foodies!

My husband isn't a fan kasi, kaya di ko sya maisama :S One of my fave Japanese resto is located in Makati, its name is Suzu kin. :) Its a small resto, actually the facade looks like a house pa nga, but their food is soooo delicious!

  7. We haven't tried this Japanese restaurant, too, but we might just do that one of these days as we're scheduled for our family check-ups at MMC very soon. Thanks for the heads-up!
