Snack Ideas for Kids

Staying at home has become the new normal. Amidst the pandemic, the challenge for us Moms is how to come up with snacks that our kids can indulge in so their ever growing needs can be fueled and their cravings are satisfied.

Since snacks are often a major part of our kid’s diet, and my little whales have been asking me to surprise them with a variety of snacks each day, I am sharing with you some snack ideas that your kids can munch on while making sure that they still get what their little body needs.
1. Yogurt - they are a good source of protein and calcium. Plus you can mix and match with fruits and candies so they can have fun finishing off this snack.

2. Cheese - a few slices of this goody contains a good amount of protein and fat. Cheese also a good source of calcium to help strengthen their bones.

3. Hard Boiled Egg - this is a hit with my whales. They like snacking on eggs and I really don’t mind since it provides protein, Vitamin B12, riboflavin and other vitamins our kids will surely benefit from.

4. Peanut Butter and Banana - the right balance of sweet and fruity. Bananas are a good source of potassium which is essential for kidney function while peanut butter provides protein too.

5. Welch’s Fruit Snacks Mixed Fruit - okay, my kid’s new favorite thing to do - devour these delicious fruit-flavored snacks until the last piece.

Welch’s Fruit Snacks are a good source of Vitamin A, C& E.   Welch’s Fruit Snacks are made with real fruit. It is fat free, Gluten Free with No Preservatives! Truly a guilt-free snack that our kids can indulge in!

We should always be careful about what to give our children. Since snacks are an important part of their diet too, we have to be sure about what we feed them specially during the pandemic. Let’s make sure that what they eat is also rich in vitamins and minerals for their young body yet something that they will truly enjoy.

Welch’s Fruit Snacks are available in leading supermarkets nationwide.
