The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Christmas has always been my favorite season. I look forward to the twinkling lights, beautifully wrapped presents, and all the trappings that come with this time of the year.

If kids are excited over Halloween, I am the opposite. And no matter how old I get, I'm still going to choose Christmas over any holidays.

The Parties

Wore my favorite Tutu Skirt but didn't really have any character in mind. Tinkerbell, I guess? 😂

Again, if little kiddos are excited to dress up as ghouls, angels, and action heros during Halloween, I excitedly look ahead towards Christmas because of the parties.

I like the anticipation and excitement of waiting for the announcement of what theme it will be each year. Hey, what can I say, I'm a kid trapped in a mom's body.

I have been blogging for several years now, and I must say, I am glad to be a part of a group of like-minded people who share the same purpose and passion that I have.

For almost 3 years, I have been looking forward to the group's holiday get-togethers. More than the gifts and merriment, it is how every mommy members of the group make each other feel supported, welcomed, and at home.

MBP Christmas Party 2018



This year, like the other two I've been to before, the Mommy Bloggers Philippines Christmas Party is something worth remembering.

The event was sponsored by some of our most favorite household brands. I'd sneak in a thank you here for their generous support to us moms as always. Thank you! ❤️

This year, the theme was "MBP at the Movies."  We were asked to wear costumes representing our favorite movies/movie icons to make the party even more fun.

And just like how Mom's go all-out for our kids, the MBP Mommies went the extra mile too and wore their favorite characters and represented them to a T! The program was hosted by one of MBP's Co-Founder Mommy Louisa who added her own style of energy and enthusiasm to the party.



I'm glad to have been invited to the MBP Christmas Party this year. The only time every year where Mommies like me get to be ourselves, have fun, and enjoy the company of one another.

The Place where ICONS are Remembered

Of course, when choosing a venue for parties, the first consideration must be whether it's conducive to the theme you are trying to celebrate.

And where else will you find our favorites icons remembered? Of course, at ICON Hotel Timog. The place is easy to spot because of it's strategic location at the circle.

When you step inside, you will easily feel comfortable and relaxed because of the simplicity yet coziness of their lobby.

ICON Hotel was the perfect spot for this year's MBP Christmas Party because the moment you step inside, you will see the framed images of the big screen and boob tube legends.

What sets ICON Hotel Timog apart from all the rest is that their interiors, motif, and decors are distinctly their own. Their rooms have framed images of our favorite icons that lets guests walk down memory lane through a photograph.

The event set-up was superb as the event hall was spacious and decors was so on point. The food they served was sumptuous and filling and the best part is, all their staff were courteous and accommodating .

ICON Hotel Timog is one of the best place to hold your events and celebrations. And I can say, this is one of the most memorable MBP Christmas Parties for me. Till' next year! 🎄🎄🎄
