Why LBC's Newest Services can Improve Your Online Selling and Online Shopping Experience

Online Selling, Shopping and Logistics

E-Commerce has suddenly become the big thing in the country today. Nothing is impossible anymore cause it seems that whatever you need can be found online now. I,myself am an avid online shopper and at the same time, owner of an online shop that offers everything -Shoppers Stop Online Shop.

Being an online business owner for several years, I have come to rely on several shipping companies to get things around. But of course, several hindrances make my small business a bit hard to handle sometimes. Two of the most common setbacks I encounter are shipping and payment collections.

I have partnered with several logistics companies and have chosen different modes of payment in the past. But of course, you can never turn away from the trusted ones. One of my most trusted payment options ever is LBC. I have always been confident with their services and I'm glad that over the years, I never really had any major problems with them.

Newest Services

The LBC Philippines Team headed by Oliver Valentin, LBC Express PH Retail Operations Senior Vice President.

So I was recently invited to witness the launch of LBC's newest services - Cash on Pickup (COP) & Cash on Delivery (COD). The aim is to keep up and to address the growing market trend of online and e-commerce business.

LBC will become the trading place of the buyer and the seller as this will utilize LBC's core services - as a courier of parcels and boxes, and as a payment collections channel.

"This service targets both small online sellers like stay-at-home moms, students and starting entrepreneurs. On the side of online buyers, LBC aims to enable customers to enjoy and maximize their shopping experience with just a few taps on their mobile phones or computers. The entry of COP and COD is a testament to how LBC is willing and able to answer the demands of the digital age- as well as the ever evolving needs of the market. With these new services, we are committed to provide the Filipino market with the same brand of reliability and convenience that LBC has long been known for." - Valentin

The Benefits

LBC's two newest services is still a bit new to take in. There are some questions that need to be answered for online sellers like me. But from what I understood during the launch, here are some of the ways us sellers and shoppers can benefit from these new features:

1. Secure Trading Place - because LBC branches will be the pick up point for the parcel and the payment, we are assured that the transaction will be secured. Unlike the traditional delivery to your home or office, trained LBC personnel will help you close the sale without fear of security risks.

2. Convenience - though I still prefer for my parcels to be delivered right at my doorstep, there are times that it is unavoidable for me to get out of the house to run errands, it is also easier if I can just go to the nearest LBC branch and pick up my package or collect payments at the time of my convenience.

3. Shop anywhere - buyers are assured that the items they buy from any point of the country will be delivered to them in mint condition as long as the proper payment and packaging processes are met.

4. Cash on Delivery - of course, LBC will still carry their core service which is delivery to whatever address is on the parcel. But now, they have opened their services to accepting payments upon delivery of the items and LBC takes care of remitting the payment to the seller.

5. Informal yet Secure - the seller can just go to any LBC branch, bring valid identification to collect payments and have their items delivered to their buyers. There's no need to register their business to start availing of the service.

These are just some of the benefits COP and COD has on the table, there are still other factors to consider such as rates - which LBC promises to be competitive yet affordable to provide value for money for both buyers and sellers.

Since I started online selling and shopping, LBC has always been on top of my Modes of Payment list, so I'm sure that these exciting new services will be the next big thing when it comes to having our orders and delivery come on time in mint condition and easily collect payments without the fear of being scammed.
