5 Benefits of ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) : The Vinegar that has Powerful Healing Compounds

Okay. This may be nothing new to you because the rise in the demand for apple cider vinegar in the Pinoy household has increased over the years. We all know how we Filipinos are, we prefer natural and organic instead of jumping in straight to chemically-filled solutions that are available in the market. This I admit is not new to me anymore because in our home, we always make sure that there is an ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) bottle in the pantry and we take it religiously.

It's been 2 years since we started believing in the power of ACV - a fermented juice that is made out of crushed apples -  and here are some benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar that we have been enjoying since:

  • Quick cough and cold treatment - yes, whenever one of us feels a cold or cough coming on, we immediately take 1 teaspoonful of ACV and the symptoms just goes away the next day. Maybe because it contains Vitamin C which is good for our respiratory system.
  • Quick relief for upset stomach - stomach discomfort can happen from time to time to any one of us and what we do is take again, 1 teaspoonful of ACV + a drop of honey + some bit of rest and voila, tummy pain is gone.
  • Everyday energy booster - I sure don't have a scientific explanation for it but I take a teaspoonful of ACV everyday because I can feel my body feeling more energetic after. It's like a sudden surge or shot of happiness that I feel better immediately and ready to take on my tasks for the day.
  • Promotes weightloss - this, I've somehow proven since I take ACV each day alongside the diet plan I follow.
  • Relieve sore throat - same as #1, ACV quickly relieves sore throat whenever it comes on during a bad day. The good thing is, even with my kids - ACV is a perfect cure!
Aside from the cures ACV can bring to our body internally, apple cider vinegar also has healing powers outside: some use it to prevent dandruff, prevent vaginal infections, skin whitening and prevent insect bites.

I did a little research and here's what I found out:

Apple cider vinegar is the fermented juice of crushed apples. It contains acetic acid and nutrients such as B vitamins and vitamin C. Apple cider vinegar might help lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes by changing how foods get absorbed from the gut. Apple cider vinegar might prevent the breakdown of some foods.  -https://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-816-apple%20cider%20vinegar.aspx?activeingredientid=816&activeingredientname=apple%20cider%20vinegar

So it is because of the great ingredients it has. But really, to me - it's plain and simple - ACV makes for a great and delish salad dressing.

Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar

Here's a brand that I would definitely recommend you guys make part of your household - Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar - raw and unfiltered, Made from the juice of apples diluted with water to a uniform pickling and table strength of 5%(50 grains) acidity.

Yes, it's much more sour than the other brand in the market but really, I like it because it means that it uses more raw, unfiltered and natural ingredients.

Heinz ACV is healthy.

Now available in leading supermarkets in the Philippines. So what are you waiting for? Start your journey to health and wellness with Heinz ACV. To know more, like and follow their FACEBOOK PAGE: HEINZ PHILIPPINES.
