Cheetos Cheese Sticks Recipe #PerezHiltonInspired

Busy Is An Understatement

It's been a while since I got inspired to whip something up in the kitchen. Busy can't even begin to describe how I've been lately. Work and motherhood is a combination of trying to get a little "me" time done. So after a speaking engagement yesterday and after wrapping up my niece Sofia's 9th birthday celebration, I decided to copy a recipe I saw on Perez Hilton's Facebook page. If you check it our or if you have seen it before, his recipe is called Mozzarella Cheetos Sticks. The recipe looked fairly easy and I had a bag of Cheetos handy, so I decided to make own version of it.

Unfortunately, I do not have a video but I will try my best to explain it so you can create one for your kids and your whole family too! And did I mention, the ingredients are so affordable also?

Cheetos Cheese Sticks

CHEETOS CHEESE STICKS

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Eden original cheese
  • 2 medium sized eggs
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Half pack flour
  • Medium sized Crispy Fry or breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium pack Cheetos or our local Chiz Curls

Procedures

  1. Cut the cheese into sticks, make sure in equal sizes (whatever shape you prefer!, Be creative.)
  2. In a separate bowl or plate, coat cheese with flour. Make sure to completely cover all sides.
  3. Crack both eggs in a big bowl, add 2 tablespoons of water (depending on the size of your ingredients, some only require 1 egg)
  4. After coating the raw cheese sticks with flour, dip them in egg, again making sure that they are evenly coated with egg
  5. Mix ground cheetos with breadcrumbs and wrap the cheese in the mix.
  6. Freeze cheese sticks for 3 hours.
  7. Heat oil at 350 degrees.
  8. Dip sticks in oil for 5-10 seconds to make sure they don't get burned. (overcooked cheese sticks don't look nice hehe)
  9. Serve hot and fried! Enjoy!!!
You can use ketchup, mayo-ketchup or marinara sauce to go with your sticks!

Sorry guys, my directions may be a bit hard to understand so to give you a clearer perspective, here's the video by Perez:

Thanks guys! Hoping to share more recipes with you!
